Faustin "Tino" Chavez has received the following Certificates from the Gemological Institute of America:
-Diamond Courses -Colored Stone Identification and attended required Campus Courses at GIA Volunteer Work: President of the following committees: Santa Fe Fiesta Council 1979, New Mexico Jewelers Association 1980, Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce 1981, Santa Fe Country Club 1985, DeVargas Center Merchants Association 1996-1997, Northern New Mexico Senior Men’s Golf Association 2005-2006. Association consists of 400 members from Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico and was responsible for organizing two dozen golf tournaments in two dozen sites. Also served on the following committees: -College of Santa Fe Board of Trustees -City of Santa Fe Sister Cities Committee -City of Santa Fe Lodgers Tax Committee -City of Santa Fe Tourism Committee -Ranchos de Los Golondrinas Executive Board; Spanish Colonial Living Museum Co-Founder of the City of Santa Fe Municipal Recreational Complex which includes a championship municipal 18 hole course, par 3 executive golf course, softball fields, baseball fields, soccer fields, and rugby fields. In the duration of over 30 years of service to Santa Fe County, Taos County and surrounding areas, Chavez Fine Jewelers has established a loyal clientele, based on our fine reputation of honesty and craftsmanship. We are proud to be the only Master Jeweler member in this area of the Independent Jewelers Organization. Our staff includes a Registered Jeweler from the American Gem Society and Accredited Jewelry Professional from the Gemological Institute of America. |
